Hop River Village - Archeology Dig

Today I joined in on a very interesting archeology excavation of a large historical mill site in Columbia CT. There were quite a few mills at the site and many remnants remain.

I will be back to dig more as I find this work fascinating. I am a member of FOSA.

Retaining Wall

Today my son and I finished off the retaining wall. We moved all the extra rocks to the back yard using his Hummer. Its been a long term DIY project where--truth be told--Greg did most of the work! Many thanks to a strong and helpful son!!!

Westerly / Misquamicut

We are spending a week in Westerly Rhode Island for our 2025 summer vacation. On Sunday, the weather was very overcast with a bit of rain so rather that swimming and/or mountain biking we drove to the beach as well as walked around lovely downtown Westerly.

Westerly - Downtown

Westerly is a beautiful town brimful of history. Its great to see all the old buildings still standing and full of a myriad of fascinting shops and restaurants.
No walk downtown is complete with a viston to the train station!
