Westport, CT - June 15th Rally

There was a protest rally in Westport, CT titled: "ImpeachTrump: Act to Defend Democracy". Cris was anxious to participate so I did my customary Saturday mountain biking early over at Mianus.

We got there a little early and had a chance to enjoy the town - It's quite picturesque, nestled along the Saugatuck River.

We prepped protest signs( mine below) and stood on the bridge for the rally.

 Unfortunately some hard core Trump supporters showed up with a megaphone and provoked and taunted us the entire time. Using bullying tactics and loudly broadcasting spoon-fed lies from the Infowars camp - it was ugly and dare I say? typical of Trump sheeple.  Sadly there were a few drive bys who honked their support for these provokers and the police did nothing.

Sure its a free county and we are ALL entitled to free speech but these low-lifes were there solely to taunt and provoke us. IHMO, in fairness, at least the megaphone should have been taken away from them. Sadly Westport turns out to be a community of Trumpistas - its hard to believe but tragically true....
