Fireworks at QuarryView

Dean invite me to see the Portland, CT fireworks from QuarryView - It was beautiful...

I brought the flute :-)

Dean lit a fire...

But we moved to the "wedding patio" for a better view of the show

Kind of blurry but Dean loves to chat about this history of the place and it is always fascinating...

Quarry View 2022 - Sunshine!

I stopped by today at Quarry View to see the "updates" Dean has made. It's looking magnificent!

Wow - Here's where the drum circle will happen!

I then wandered over to a stretch of the abandoned Air Line Railroad >

Friday Night Drum Circle

I returned once more to participate in the QuarryView drum circle and arrived a bit early to chat with folks and enjoy the beauty of the quarry.

Dean created another mini Stonehenge!

Brownstone cliffs in the waning sunlight - ooo yeah!
This was my arsenal for tonight - the big drum Dean's graciously let me borrow - it sounded awesome. He mentioned it was custom built for him. I made Will Ferrell proud when grooving on the small black metal instrument.  :-)
As the night progressed...
I left before the community of drummers finished but did snap a shot looking back....
