Quarry View - Life is Now
Pequot Museum
Cris and I ventured south to the Foxwoods Complex to visit the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center. What an amazing place! We went here ages ago after it first opened and I have been dying to go back ever since... [Should be a required visit for all Ameircans! :-) ]
BTW - Its five stories high and faces the cedar swamp - the vibe here was incredible...
The entrance hallScale model of the reservation grounds - freakin' awesome!

The Leeway
I had the good fortune to stay at The Leeway for a night after I rode the Ashokan Rail Trail.

Driving north from Mt Tremper
While driving up to Woodstock Brewing to have lunch, all along the way you see the railbikes--even on a crappy, gray, rain-soaked day they are out there!
I enjoyed a flight of local beers at the Woodstock Brewery (PS - I lked the stout the best!)It was like a monsoon when I left the Brewery!!

At John's camp - August 2023
John, Paul, Chad, Gary and Rich had a good time at John's camp on Paradox Lake in the Adirondacks.
On Tuesday, Captain John took us on a boat ride:
Wednesday morning we went kayaking (no photos).
Of course most of the time we chatted and chatted and chatted - it was great! :-)
