Sonic Adventures in My Early Years...

Sonic Explorations...

While at Ithaca College, I managed to unearth an unused EML synthesizer that the music school owned but never used. I spent many a hour tinkering with the knobs and learning the ropes of electronic music synthesis.

During one inspired moment creating loud bizarre gurgling noises with the SAMPLE and HOLD module, I was rudely interrupted from my auditory explorations by someone from the faculty viola recital that was going on a floor below: "Your ruining the Mozart with this lunacy! Stop this immediately!"

Sadly, a continued trek down this uncharted musical avenue was quickly curtailed by the school. The EML was locked away and I was forever banned from using it... 😏
